Noticed some fantastic new exhibits in the Holocaust Museum.  Students from Mrs. Pallante's Class at Saints Peter and Paul School, created some powerful new builds.

Let the Architecture Begin

Avatars from Grand Island have been getting ready for a new project.  They have been learning about the principles of architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright!  Their teacher, Professor Howard created a museum that tells about Frank Lloyd Wright and his Prairie Style Architecture.  Students will be using those principles of design to create their own works.  They are on their way!  Here are some screen shots of their island and some of their beginning works.

The Invention Convention Comes to Town

Today I was in-world and found students busily building!  Over the past year, our Welcome Center on Theta Island has been a wonderful shopping center.... without anything to look at or buy.

That all changed when Professor Howard decided to have her students create inventions to sell within the stores.  And.... viola!  There is building, inventing, and creativity on display for all avatars to see!

Level 1 Builders Badge

As I have mentioned before, there are some very talented builders here on the Islands of Enlightenment.   Since I believe building here is a wonderful skill to learn that has lots of "Real World" possibilities attached to it I have decided to create a badging system for the builders here.  When you have done a creation that seems realistic/ artistic and takes a some time to build I will being awarding builders badges.  Our first winners are:
